What an honor to contribute to this with my research. 5 years ago, I started researching into Black LGBT history in Kansas City, and came across Black drag queens Edye Gregory and Ray Rondell. That first research article I wrote became an inflection point for what is now known as {B/qKC}. Not only are those two queens honored on this mural, excited that Tisha Taylor gets her flowers as a legend in our community.
