I was excited to be selected for the Diaspora Solidarities Lab Community Fellows Program for 2024. Through the fellowship, I was able to greatly expand my work with {B/qKC} by launching it as a full-fledged archive, and developing its robust storage system (which would be continued through my work with the Cultural Memory Lab).

“The Diaspora Solidarities Lab Community Fellows are non-academic/non-institutionally affiliated community organizers, artists, cultural workers or groups who collaborate on projects with other participants and innovate DSL-sponsored projects of their own. The Community Fellows program invests in collaborative community work and supporting practitioners doing the work where they are.”
