In July 2023, I joined community organizers, activists, and fellow artists for Black PRIDE, a panel hosted by Keystone Innovation District as part of their Rebuild Honestly series. This event centered the lived experiences, resilience, and contributions of Kansas City’s Black queer community–creating a space for radical honesty, connection, and imagining beyond.
